Ing. Andrea Zucconi, Commercial Director of Falorni TECH, speaks about the Eco Glass Innovation Technology developed by our engineering and technical division. The piece is published in the special May issue of Glass International focused on Furnaces and on the new technology developments for melting glass furnaces as our solutions to improve the energy efficency and minimise the environmental impact of a glass manufacturing industrial plants. With the Oxygen gas heating technology ( Low NOx) Falorni TECH aims to lessen the specific fuel consuption by up to 30% and cut NOx emissions by up to 50%. The most relevant application made by Falorni TECH of this technology are in Italy (tableware) Turkey ( glasswool) and Mexico (container glass).
